When it comes to fund raising it's difficult to come up with new ideas. Our horse race evenings will give you a great night, and can cost you absolutely nothing, plus making great profits for your club or charity. To achieve this we always recommend you chose the FULL RACE NIGHT (DELUXE) package. With this version you can sell the horses and races to your customers who then become "owners" whose name is printed in the race card.They can even name their own horses with an original name of their choice.
On the evening we will arrive with 8 sealed DVD's each showing a single horse race with 8 runners.We will supply M.C./Projectionist who will come complete with Video player and large screen projector and large screen, plus tote tickets for all races. Or why not have a DIY race night! We will send the number of videos you have ordered (6 or 8) plus intro. tape, tote tickets, pre-printed programs and information on how to run a race night. or you need is someone who knows how to work a DVD! We will advise on the tote and how to run it (We suggest you get at least two trustworthy people to run the tote)
The races each have 8 horses identified by number only. The films are shown and the punters bet on which horse number they think will win. You run the tote, take out a percentage (normally between 30% and 50%) for club funds or charity, and show the films. Each film is sealed so nobody will know which horse will win, as the tote is closed before the film is shown. A film is chosen at random and then loaded into the DVD player and shown on the large screen. That's when the excitement really begins as the crowd cheer on their own horse. It's as simple as that.plus we can also print your personalised race cards, posters and invitations.It is a unique fund-raising event already used successfully by thousands of organisations to raise funds

This example is based on seventy people attending with an eight race, eight horse per race programme

RACE SPONSORSHIP (@ £25.00 per race) £200.00

Get a local business or club member to sponsor a race. They will have a race named after their business printed on the race card.

HORSE OWNERSHIP (@ £10.00 per horse) £640.00

Sell each horse and get the "owner" to name it. The names would be printed in the race card with some form of prize (e.g..£20 or bottle of wine) presented to the winning horse owner on the night.

ADVERTISING (@£100.00) £100.00
Get a local business to advertise on the back of the race card. They should provide artwork/logo etc.

TOTE TICKET sales (@ £1 per ticket) £420.00

Based on each person spending £1.50 on each race with your Organisation keeping 50%

AUCTION RACE (£30.00 bid per horse) £120.00

Sell each horse to the highest bidder on one or more races, give 50% of the total to the winning owner, 50% to your funds. A normal tote would also operate on an auction race.

TRICAST sales (@ £1 per ticket) £236.00

One A3 poster pack per race, containing 336 boxes with pre-printed numbered combinations. they can be sold in advance of your event. The correct combination holder wins £100 giving your charity or club £236. (If all the tricast boxes are not sold give 1/3 of tricast to winner and the rest you keep.)

LUCKY DIP dual forecast (@ 50p per ticket ) £140.00

Each book contains 28 pre-printed combinations for first and second place. There is one winning combination paying out at 20:1 for eight horse races only. Lucky dip dual forecast can operate on more than one race. Based on people spending on average 50p per race

ADMISSION TICKETS (@ £2.00 ) £140.00

To ensure good attendance sell admission tickets in advance of your event, we can print them for you, showing all the relevant details about your event.

GRAND TOTAL £1996.00

All the above percentages and suggestions are variable and optional. In addition you can sell the race cards, hold a raffle, sell food, and of course you have a captive audience for the bar.

We cannot guarantee you will make the amounts above, but with careful planning and a reasonable attendance you should cover your costs and make a good profit.

WE CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THE IMPORTANCE OF HAVING CUSTOM PRINTED RACE CARDS IN RAISING MONEY FOR YOUR CLUB.
